One God Who Willingly Became Our Saviour - PART 167

Here is your question of the day!

If the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost (Spirit) are three distinct and separate persons, and not simply One, or as some religious leaders might suggest - in "agreement" with one another, then how distant are these three beings one from another? Certainly, if one were to believe that God were three distinct and separate persons, me thinks that it would be becoming of those folks advocating such a presentation to produce scripture establishing their beliefs. This might be why His Word places an onus on us as believers in Jesus by faith to search the scriptures, so that we are not misled by centuries of religious teachings and dogma that do not accurately align with the Word.

The scriptures say that God and Christ, and the Holy Ghost will dwell in man. Are there three persons dwelling within you? Are you three persons? After all, in your human journey, you also could serve as a son, a father and a spirit. Think about it. The scripture declares, that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and that your body is the temple of God, and that Christ is in you, except you be a reprobate. If God were three persons and not one, how could this be? Well, the reality is that it couldn't.

In fact, there is only One God, the Father, of whom are all things -- we are in Him, and our Lord Jesus the Christ, by whom are all things, and we by Him. Further, Jesus said, I AM. How many times did He announce that He is the I AM? Even though no man has seen God at any time, the only begotten who is in the bosom (innermost being) of the Father He has declared Him. Jesus the only begotten came forth from the bosom (innermost being) of the Father and was manifest in the flesh, revealing Himself as a Son, in which the Spirit of God Himself was pleased to dwell.

God manifest in the flesh. (I Timothy 3:16)

He was in the world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not. (John 1:10)

In other words, Jesus is not another divinity. No! Jesus is the unseen God who fills the Heavens and the earth, and in Him (God), we all live, and move, and have our being. In the same context, Jesus is the express image of the unseen Spirit of God, revealing Himself in a natural form as a Son (God as a Son). God was in the man Jesus the Christ who alone is the embodiment of the humanity of God.(Note: humanity is a spiritual attribute requiring only a body to express spiritual intent).

Perfect humanity, not fallen humanity.

Considered through a different scriptural lens, Jesus is the second Adam. The Lord Himself out of Heaven created a new blood line. The blood line of the holy Spirit of the unseen God, purposefully entering in to our depraved sin-cursed way of life, willing to sacrifice His own body as a Son, in order, that we who were all of our lives held captive and in bondage might receive from the God who created mankind the free gift of eternal life!

How else could God reveal Himself other than in the fashion that He had by Himself predetermined must be accomplished for the redemption of the first Adam’s sinful race? God coming forth as a mighty man.

This is why at Calvary, Jesus said, "It is finished!" The work of redemption is now complete! Note that we were redeemed with the blood of Jesus and not with silver or gold. We were purchased back to an abundant new life by God, reaching out to each and every one of us in love.

The scriptures state that there is absolutely nothing which can separate you or I from the Love of God! God in Christ laid down His life as a Son so that we who were guilty might now be declared innocent by God our Saviour and Creator. He loves you!

Come directly to God in Christ! Stand in the Offering Plate.

Jesus Paid the Price of Salvation in Full - PART 166

How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel because by Gods grace, they will reap in joy! Indeed, he that wins souls is wise. The scriptures state, "Labour not for the meat that perishes but [rather] for the meat that endures unto everlasting life." There is a reason why this verse has so much relevance.

Most times when we travel, we plant seeds in places where Satan has been seated for a long time. It is almost like visiting on the dark side -- where the prince of Rome rides with the scarlet coloured woman riding horseback. It is to these folks that the Word of this salvation is sent. Throughout our trip, we were blessed to know that God was always one step ahead of us. In terms of preaching the Word, all we had to do was set the table and invite the "whosoever" to come and dine.

As a sidebar, this most recent journey puts me in mind of John Appleseed who preached and sowed apple seeds wherever he traveled. Many had forgotten the Spirit of the Word that he preached, so instead they turned the apples into cider. Still, God’s Spirit does not come from a bottle. The scriptures state that we should not be drunk with wine wherein is excess, but rather filled with God’s Spirit. In earlier posts - wine rearranges the furniture in one’s head but it is the Holy Spirit that instills in believers a sound mind.

But the good news is that the gospel message -- Jesus is the Good Shepherd, the Chief Shepherd -- is still the focal point of our journey. Unfortunately, what we often find is that the greatest obstacle to preaching the Word is the nullifying of God’s Word by the so called churches. These are often the same churches who apparently seem to have removed Jesus from the Cross, preferring instead to advance the premise that church attendance or giving money to the organization is a prerequisite for a ticket to heaven.

The truth of the matter is that churches cannot save! The Bible makes this clear. Therein, the scriptures state that there is only "one" mediator between God and man and that one mediator is none other than God Himself. The same God who, as a Son became the only means whereby persons could be saved, delivered, or healed, from whatever pit of despair they may have fallen into.

Similarly, to obtain God's salvation, one must come directly to this One God who indwelt the man Jesus the Christ. Why? Because God sacrificed His own human flesh for us. This love that God has for His people has not changed. God is still the God of this present 21st century age. And as such, the GIFT of God is still ETERNAL LIFE.

So, why not come and stand in the offering plate? When you stand in the offering plate (not your money) it is a testimony of your own belief - your faith - that the Spirit of God cannot be purchased with money. It also reinforces the gospel message that we are preaching near and far -- that is, Jesus paid the price of our salvation in full!

Becoming Fishers of Men - PART 165

So now is the time to go and preach the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ! Although we may not have the same opportunity during this time away to post daily updates, we ask that you pray for hearts to open in our absence. Or, at the very least that hearts may be ajar enough so that we do not miss any opportunities to preach. In the interim, to the many dear friends around this planet who are constantly emailing, please keep earnestly contending for this one faith delivered to us personally by God Himself as a son.

Why? Because our God is not just speaking wholesome words of liberty but ensuring our deliverance though His sacrificial death on a Roman cross at Calvary. For those who will continue reading these presentations whilst we are planting and reaping as God leads and adds to his Body living stones, may we encourage you to stand in the offering plate -- with nothing in your hand -- and without deceit, cast all your cares upon Jesus your Creator, Saviour and would be friend for now and for all eternity

May the same God who was in Christ Jesus and who now dwells within me in Christ, be within you too. May you similarly by God's grace allow Jesus to bring forth to you the bread (His life) and the wine (His blood). God bless! Peace to all in Jesus!

Ye Must Be Baptized Every One of You in the Name of Jesus - PART 164

If one tells a lie often enough, the lie becomes perfected. In this context then, it is possible (and even probable) that someone will believe that lie as if it were the truth. Certainly, if we relate this simple analogy to commercially produced products in stores - those feature items termed as No Name brands - we can see how marketing strategies can imply that the product is the same as a name brand. In this case however, so many products have appeared under the No Name brand name that in actuality, the No Name brand has become a featured name. Well, so it is the same with religions that misrepresent scripture. Their own presentation or version of the scripture becomes almost as if it is in complete accord with the written Word of God. Note the word "almost". Unfortunately, the fearful thing about this perspective is that they nearly got away with their deceitful presentation! But alas, their veil was rent in twain from the top to the bottom, by the Word of God. For those who still present views that are contrary to the Scriptures, well, unfortunately, they remain entangled in their web of deceit! Only God can open their eyes to the gospel truths.

Still, there are three that bear witness on earth -- the Blood, the Water, and the Spirit. The scriptures are clear on this point for those that search the scriptures for the truth. For further understanding, the following scriptural references may be useful.

1. The Blood .. For God has declared that without the shedding of blood (speaking of Jesus' death on the cross) there is no remission of sin. Further, He said, This is My blood shed for many for the remission of sin. The first message preached in Acts chapter 2 initially outlined the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Upon preaching Jesus - mankind’s only redeemer - to the multitudes, conviction took hold of the collective and individual consciences of the audience. With their madness condemned, the audience never had any recourse but to become free from their guilt. So, in desperation they cried to the speakers addressing them saying, Men and Brethren, what must we do? The response is recorded in Acts 2:38.

The speakers solution to the troubled consciences did not precede the preaching of the sacrificial crucifixion of Jesus. This is because, as previously stated, that without the shedding of blood there cannot be any remission of sin. Not just any blood, but the blood that was in Jesus' veins -- the blood of the Holy Spirit (Holy sinless blood of the only innocent man on this planet earth, with the capability to cancel all of man’s sins and transgressions and subsequently transfer man’s guilt onto Himself). What a loving God and wonderful Saviour!

The apostles, filled with the Holy Spirit of Jesus, told the followers what they ought to do to receive the remission of sin purchased of God for their salvation. On that day, as recorded, 3000 persons were baptised into the name of Jesus and thus eligible to receive the promised free gift of the presence of God’s Holy Spirit. We note, that the Holy Spirit through the apostles said that the people were to be baptised into the name of Jesus. Likewise, earlier in the scriptures, the angel had said that His name should be called Jesus -- for He Jesus shall save His people from their sin!

As such, this is not a NO NAME brand of salvation. The gospel message is specific. For those readers who are still troubled with Matthew chapter 28 verse 19, note that the text that we have is not the original. It was changed from Jesus' name to the titles -- father, son, and spirit. And because an accurate presentation of Matthew 28:19 has not been rendered, the "titles" have become a No Name brand as far as the scriptures are concerned.

If Matthew 28:19 is the presentation made in your religious organization, then your preacher is being a stranger to the truth. Indeed, whole organizations have been built upon erroneous teaching concerning baptism but this does not make their teaching accurate. In fact, the ONLY name whereby you can be saved is by baptism into the name is Jesus! Therefore, let's follow the Bible lead. After all, it is the Word of God. Then you too will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit -- the Seed of the Holy Spirit dwelling within you!

Have You Received the Holy Ghost Since You Believed? - PART 163

If any man has not the Spirit of Christ, they are not His, saith the scriptures. But if one confesses to be a believer, it begs the same question asked of believers in the New Testament. That is, "Have you received the Spirit of the Holy one?" This question was asked in Acts chapter 19, where the response from the people was that they had never so much as heard that there be any Holy Ghost. Does this sound familiar? Something like being asked to join a church and/or every other obstruction rather than having an opportunity to know the truth?

Unfortunately, scriptures that present the gospel message of the water, the blood, and the Spirit are no longer in fashion in main line churches. In many churches, hymnals that would dare mention the sacrificial offering for sin appear to be redundant, replaced with a do good or social order taking precedence. This may explain why the scriptures state that in the latter days, a time would come when men would no longer be capable of receiving sound truths. Still, the Word of God (forever settled in Heaven) is the same Word that God stands over performing today. Whatsoever He has prophetically revealed by His Spirit, is the same occurrences that are coming to pass now.

Still, at the end of life’s road is God. Death is inevitable. In this context, each and every one of us must appear before God’s white throne. This is not the time to argue about life accomplishments. Why? Because a science degree will not save you, although admittedly there are some scientists that have declared that science has not replaced God! Likewise, there are very few atheists in the front line during times of war. Indeed, in perilous times, the name of Jesus may be mentioned more then than in most churches today. I digress.

The good news is that Jesus is the SEED of the Holy Ghost. That Seed, which is the Word of God, searches for good ground to be planted in. This is why you are that earthly vessel into which the pure SEED of the Word of God desires to be planted. The Scripture declares that believers are the temple of God, and the Spirit of God dwells within! Of course, we are talking of those who have received the SEED of the Holy Spirit (the WORD) and that SEED in one’s heart prompts within a person a desire to become acquainted with the one whose SEED it is, hastening a person to receive the Baptism of the Spirit. See Acts chapter 4 for further details.

JESUS, who is the SEED of the Holy Spirit has SEEDED you with His WORD and in turn with His presence. Now the One God who was in the man JESUS indwells in you, which is declared as -- Christ now in you bringing to you the hope of glory. You are now born again of the water and of the Spirit! Indeed, now that you are a member of the body of Christ, you have become a living stone in the temple of God. His habitation wherein God in Christ is pleased to dwell in you!

Water Baptism In Jesus Name - PART 162

You are cleansed with the washing of water by the Word. As we continue from the message in posting 161, we believe it is imperative to introduce the above scripture to the discussion. Indeed, it is necessary because of the many religions that misquote the scriptures to negate scriptural foundations such as water baptism into the Name of the Lord Jesus the Christ. Instead of presenting the scriptures as the gospel message, they say it is the Word that washes. Unfortunately, this is a half truth.

For the Word states that it is water baptism in obedience to the command of the Word that fulfills the washing. Surely they must not know that as many of us as have been baptised in water into Jesus the Christ have been baptised into His death. Similarly, they must know that the scriptures state that we are buried with Him, by our baptism into His death. And upon rising up out of that watery grave, we are in likeness being resurrected with Him.

But some so called evangelists go to great lengths to remove the truth about water baptism, saying, that the baptism hereof spoken of refers to the Spirit baptism. In reality, it is so sad to think how far some will go in order to turn babies in Christ to the error of their thinking.
This was never the intent of the scriptures. Indeed, hear what the Spirit has to say to the people. The very first message delivered by the Spirit of the One and Only God to the people, through the mouth of Peter, one of the twelve (equal) apostles, chosen of God to be His witness to the uttermost parts of the Earth.

When people listened to the discourse recorded in Acts chapter 2, they were convicted in their hearts of their wrongdoing toward Jesus whom they had crucified. Now, the doorposts of their heart feared, and they did not know how to erase their folly. So they asked Peter, along with the other apostles what they should do. Men and brethren, what must we do? In this passage of scripture, they were told to repent and to be baptized in water into the Name of the Lord Jesus the Christ for the remission of sin and they would receive the gift of the spirit.

The WORD of the Holy Spirit told them what to do!, Do this, saith the scriptures, and you will receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit, for this Promise is to you and your children, and to as many as the Lord our God shall call to Himself! Those who believed were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus the Christ, which is the Only name given among men whereby men /women/ boys/ girls can be saved.

It is for this reason that the scriptures must prevail. The world does not need any more no name brand sermons - whereby the titles are used for baptism - a teaching emanating from the courts of papal Rome. Rather, search the scriptures for yourself. Obey the Word of the Holy Spirit who is the Author of all salvation. The One and Only who declares things like the doctrine of baptism - WATER and SPIRIT. Why is this important? For except a man be born again of WATER and of the SPIRIT, he or she CANNOT enter into the Kingdom of God. In other words, do not be only a hearer of the Word of God. Discover the gospel for yourself. In this way, God will bless you as you fulfill all righteousness by being baptised in water in the name of Jesus the Christ!

Who Are My Brethren? Asks Jesus - PART 161

Who is My mother and My brethren? This is the question that Jesus asked, according to the scriptures. Jesus asked those who had informed Him that His mother and His brethren were outside desiring to speak with Him. It was then that Jesus asked the question of the crowd. “Who is my mother and my brethren?" Imagine such a question being asked of the audience. Indeed, as a reader, a question like this sounds baffling to the audience, inasmuch, as they understood His mother and His brethren were standing outside. Before we discuss the response, let's work through the scriptural references first.

We have said so often that Jesus is the Seed of the Holy Spirit. The only Begotten Son of God and yet Jesus was not begat. The Spirit of the Holy one God, planted the promised Seed firstly into the Seed bank of Eve (who is the mother of all living) and then later the Spirit of the Holy One. God planted a promised seed into Abraham's seed bank, declaring, to Abraham that this seed now implanted into his seed bank would be the seed that all nations of the earth would be blessed. Therefore, Abraham because of this Seed which is the Seed of the Holy Spirit, will become a father of many nations.

God, who is Spirit fathered the child of promise, who is the Seed of the Holy Spirit and who bears the Name JESUS, which is the name of God Himself our Saviour. Jesus came forth from a surrogate mother Mary. Jesus, being born of Mary was conceived within her by the workings of the Holy Spirit whilst she was a virgin. Jesus being her firstborn. Admittedly, Mary had other sons to Joseph her espoused husband, but none of Mary’s other children were related to Jesus in any fashion. The blood in Jesus' veins was the Life giving Blood of the Holy Spirit. Whereas, in Mary’s other offspring conceived through Joseph, the bloodline was of Adam.

It is for this reason that JESUS is the WORD of the Spirit of the One Holy God. One cannot separate God from His Own Word. The Words spoken by JESUS were the WORDS of the Spirit of the One Holy God, who as a result of the conception of Jesus, was now indwelling in that holy thing brought forth from Mary’ sin prone body. As a result of the Holy Spirit fetus being clothed in Mary's body, then that sin prone flesh, permitted Jesus to be tempted in all points even as we are!

Jesus therefore, was in the World but He was NOT of the world. He was God Himself, veiled in sinful flesh, or God manifest in the flesh. Fr one purpose was the Son of God manifest. That is, to destroy the works of the devil. The Spirit of the One Holy God named Jesus is going to sacrifice His veil of sin prone flesh. He never did sin simply because the One who indwelt Jesus, being the Spirit of the Holy One God is much greater than man's enemy Satan who is the god of this world.

JESUS is a Priest forever after the Order of Melchisedec who is without Father, without Mother… and without descent, having neither beginning of days nor end of Life! Our Spiritual mother is the Word of God which is our bread of Life and milk of the word of truth whereby we grow in grace and knowledge of our great God Jesus. May the SEED of the Holy Spirit, JESUS bless you, from the rising of the sun to the going down thereof. 24/7. Peace to all in Jesus' Name!

In the Beginning Was the Word - PART 160

This post is a continuation of our discussion on the doctrine of trinitarianism while expanding on John chapter one.

In the beginning was the Word (which the Greeks sometimes understood for wisdom or divine reason ) and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made. For by Him were all things created that are in heaven, and that are in earth. He is before all things, and by Him all things consist, upholding all things by the Word of his power.

I am still confirmed in the belief of Christ the Saviour for it is He that made all things, and by whom they exist and are upheld. Indeed, even before all things. He was not made nor upheld by another, and consequently is the same God - the Word that was made flesh - Christ the light, power, and wisdom of God. God had become the Saviour of men even though He had made all things. He was before men. This is most evident from the recited passages of scripture.

Therefore, He was not made, nor is He upheld by any other power other than His own. Consequently, He is truly God. In short, this conclusive argument with scriptures offered for proof of Christ as Saviour being God should certainly persuade all sober minded persons. Indeed, He that is the everlasting wisdom, the divine power, the true light, the only Saviour, the creating Word of all things, (whether visible or invisible) and their upholder by His own power, is without contradiction. God's qualifications and divine properties are, by the concurrent testimonies of scripture, ascribed to the Lord Jesus the Christ.

As the chorus states, in Christ the solid Rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand. Scriptural references make similar confirmations. And upon this Rock I will build my Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. For as often as you eat this Bread (the Word of God) and drink |His Blood (the redemption story) you do show forth the Lord’s sacrificial death on our behalf. This is at least until the same Jesus returns to earth for His people.

Let him that hath ears to hear, hear. May God bless all who read and digest these scriptural words -- and may the grace of God abide in your heart today and forever. Stand in the offering plate.

Nothing Shall Separate Us/You From the Love of God - PART 159

Be thou my vision. Paul, an apostle of Jesus the Christ expressed his vision. That is, he desired to know only Jesus the Christ and Him crucified. Great is that mystery, saith the scriptures. Why does God love us this way? Because nothing shall separate us from God's everlasting love that, at the end of the day, will never let us go. Think on these things!

Peter, an apostle of Jesus the Christ was so anointed with the oil of the Spirit of Jesus that when he was walking along the streets, his very shadow falling upon the sick quickened their physical bodies so that they were instantly healed. Now that is a real walk in clinic if we think of the healing in today's terms. No wonder Paul wanted to know more about Jesus and to stay focused on Jesus who has all power in heaven and on earth.

Indeed, the Word of God is so powerful in individual lives that the anointed Word of God wants to, but cannot. Why not? Simply because unbelief abounds. Still, Jesus wants to deliver you from your burdens. Your deliverance, and my deliverance have already been taken care of. However, someone hindered the truth of what Jesus really accomplished at Calvary, preventing us from obtaining our share in the Last Will of God in Christ!

The ultimate gift of salvation. Not because you or I have done anything deserving of deliverance because we did not. This is why He died at Calvary. We could not go to where He was, so instead He came to us. But not just dropping in for a visit. Oh no. Rather, He purposely appeared to straighten out our backward thinking as to who God is, so God who is Spirit appeared in form as one of us. His intent was to bring the light of God into a misled satanically deceived world. This world that has afflicted and caused men, women, boys and girls to endure unimaginable pain and suffering.

At the same time, we recall from the scriptures that Pilate washed his hands of the whole matter and blamed God! He did this knowing that God is good. Jesus, God Himself veiled in flesh demonstrated His willingness and His goodness upon earth whilst He walked among us as a Son! Jesus did not pass by on the other side of the road. And He still doesn't pass by on the other side of the road today. No. When one responds to God’s love, and becomes acquainted with the author of all living things, then there is no hesitation on God’s part to withhold any good thing from anyone.

Those living in this present God rejecting system of error has an opportunity to put God to the test. God said, Try me and see. That willingness takes faith. Still, while doubters and pessimists are everywhere, remember that God not only made you but that God loves you too. God can heal you. God can make you prosper. In fact, God can do more than you or I can possibly think. Nothing is impossible with God.

Starting today, call on the name of the Lord! Yes, the same God who laid down His life for us, as a man. When you stop to think about it, we really are not worth very much. But God had a purpose for us! So, recognize God's love and close the door on unbelief. Instead, open the door to faith in God, ie. To the God who loved you and gave Himself for you. For Jesus loves you more than His own life! Grasp the reality of who you are and how precious you are in God’s eyes, and because He is God, let Him come and heal you and deliver you.

Remember too that the gift of salvation is not about religion. We are talking about you beginning a personal relationship with your Creator, Saviour and forever friend! Trust that you can go directly to Him. Just talk to Him as a friend. Jesus knows all about you. Now it is your turn to respond to Jesus. ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE! Love is all you need -- God’s love is a true love. Stand in the offering plate!

Besides Me, There Is No Saviour - PART 158

Next, from the Word Saviour, it is manifest that I am the Lord, and beside me there is no Saviour. And you shall know no God but Me for there is no Saviour beside Me. Mary said, "My Spirit has rejoiced in God my Saviour" while the Samaritans said to the woman, "Now we know that this is indeed the Christ the Saviour of the world." These revelations according to His grace made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus the Christ.

Simon Peter indicated that they have obtained precious faith with us -- through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus the Christ. Therefore, he said, we suffer reproach because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men. It is for this reason that we align to the only wise God. To our Saviour be the glory from which we conclude Christ to be God.

Why? Because no one can save, or be styled properly to offer humankind salvation but our Saviour God. The scriptures state that Christ is said to save, and as such, properly called a Saviour. It must then follow that Christ the Saviour is God.

To those who might consider departing from the faith and returning to the darkness of Trinitarian-ism, think on this scriptural example. There were times when the Galatians had been swayed by those who desired to water down the Word and turn back to the weak and beggarly words of men. But it is one thing to depart from a group of believers if that particular group is found to be spinning wheels. However, it is a horse of a different colour to turn one's back on scriptural foundations that entertain God to be three distinct and separate person.

Indeed, there is no getting around "One Lord, One faith, One baptism."

Still, God has chosen the foolish things -- the unlearned and in their eyes ignorant men -- to confound the wisdom of this world. The Bible asks, "O foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you" that you are intent on laying aside the Word of God? For the same reason, why adopt the heresy of Matthew 28:19 which the Romans admittedly changed to its current form? Actions speak louder than words, and those who were Jesus' chosen apostles baptized into the Name of the Lord Jesus. They were not baptized into descriptive titles such as Father, Son, Spirit, which of course is what some might refer to today as a 'no name' brand.

Indeed, at the end of the day, there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby men can be saved. The name of Jesus is above every other name in heaven and on earth. When asked, "Who are you Lord?" the response was, "I AM JESUS." Undoubtedly, Jesus. It is for this reason that it is difficult to kick against the written Word of God.

It also explains why we do not need to dip our right hand into the erroneous teaching of the church fathers. When God saved you and brought you out of the darkness of ignorance and the Word of God, on whom did you call? And who answered? Pray! Whisper His name. Jesus. Love you all who are faithful.

Indeed, Jesus is the sweetest name I know, and in Him, I have found Him to be just -- the same as His lovely name. God bless. Keep the faith. Stand in the offering plate.
